Valley Health Connections partners with North Star Health and Springfield Hospital to help patients fill out and process financial assistance applications to discount their medical bills regardless of income. If you have medical bills at other facilities we are more than happy to help with those as well.

We help with the enrollment and management of Patient Assistance Pharmaceutical Programs to help patients gain access to free medications. Vouchers are also available to help with the cost of medications for a short period while we help to find a long term solution to affordability. Vouchers are limited and based on available grant funds.

Valley Health Connections helps patients establish with a Primary Care Provider (PCP) by helping to fill out new patient paperwork and assisting with calls to set up an appointment.

Valley Health Connections can help patients in our service area access cleanings, extractions, x-rays, dentures, and other necessary treatment. We cannot assist with dental implants, braces or cosmetic procedures. Dental funding is limited and based on available grant funds.

Our staff are all Certified Application Counselors for Vermont Health Connect and are able to help Vermonters enroll into and understand insurance through Vermont’s Marketplace. We assist with VT Medicaid and other VT state programs like You First. Staff are also trained to enroll patients onto Medicare and help with the assistance programs that can help make Medicare more affordable.We can also help you complete applications for food stamps, fuel assistance and housing programs as well as other needed state programs.
