Daytime Technical Education Programs

If you are an adult seeking skills to help you enter the workforce, you can register for any of our 11 daytime programs on a space-available basis. Adults without a high school diploma can take these courses at no cost! Adults with a High School Diploma will be charged a reasonable tuition.

River Valley Advanced Manufacturing Institute

Programs incorporate carefully measured and assessed outcomes with 3rd party, industry recognized credentials like the Certified Manufacturing Associate, Certified SolidWorks Associate and National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Level 1 credentials. College credit through several regional community colleges may also be a viable option for some learners. It is highly recommended that learners take all three courses listed below but accommodations can be made for more targeted training. Programs: Manufacturing Processes, Basic Blueprint Reading and GD&T with Certification, Parametric Solid Modeling and CAD using SolidWorks 2025® with Certification, Introduction to Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) with Certification

Computer Skills Training

Get all your tech skills for employment. Learn laptop and desktop basics, internet safety, email, video conferencing, and Microsoft Word and Excel. At the end of the course, students will have the skills needed for employment or career pathways.

New Student Advising Appointments (NSAA)

One-on-one meeting with an academic advisor to assess what student wants and how to apply.

Degree Program

A.A. Degrees in Design & Media Studies, Early Childhood Education, Liberal Studies, and Libral Studies with a focus in Global Studies. A.S. Degrees in Accounting, Behavioral Sciences, Business, Environmental Science, Health Science, Information Technology, Professional Studies, STEM Studies.

Experiential Learning

Programs such as service learning, study abroad, and internships to provide students with real world experience.

Veterans Benefits

Benefits for veterans and service members to pay for some or all of a student's educational expenses such as tuition, fees, materials, parking, and housing allowance.

Post-Secondary Education (PSE)

Provides coaching and advisory support to student parents who are pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree, in addition to cash assistance grant to help students purchase books, transportation, and childcare subsidy.

LNA Program

Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program will prepare you for an entry level position in the field of nursing. The classroom and lab portions of this class will be offered at RVTC in Springfield, and the clinicals will be hosted at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT.

Basic Skills

Reading, Writing, Math, Computer, and Financial Literacy program.

English Language Learning (ELL)

A program to help people learn and improve their English skills.
