Utility Assistance

GMP Energy Assistance helps low-income Vermonters afford electricity for their homes. If we determine that you are eligible, you’ll get a 25% discount off the monthly charges for the energy you use.
To be eligible, you must be a residential customer of Green Mountain Power; and have a total gross household income at or below 185% of the federal poverty level.

Community Solar

SEVCA operates a community solar program that was designed with its member’s savings in mind. Our 110 kW Solar Array helps offset a portion of energy expenses for 50 eligible high-energy households. You receive free energy credits applied by GMP to your electricity bill, helping you save on your monthly expenses.

Weatherization

Free services to homeowners who meet our program's income guidelines. Our goal is to help address unsafe, unhealthy, and substandard conditions in homes, leading to improved health and well-being
