Healthy Youth Program (HYP)

FOR YOUTH AGES 12-25. Provides substance use education, prevention, intervention and treatment specifically geared to adolescents and young adults. The program utilizes a holistic approach to treatment that emphasizes relationship building, draws on a variety of treatment approaches to address needs, and is flexible to the unique challenges of young people seeking treatment

Narcan Referrals to recovery partners

GFC can provide members of the public, businesses, and organizations with free Narcan and make referrals for Narcan training. GFC can also provide resources and make referrals to recovery partners.

GFC can help provide resources about cannabis , safe storage of cannabis products, and more.

DUI Program

HCRS collaborates with the Windsor County Court to provide treatment for adults in Windsor, Windham, or Orange counties with substance related driving offenses This is a voluntary program for individuals who meet criteria for a moderate to severe substance use diagnosis.

Substance Use & Additictions

Education, assessment, outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, as well as referral services. The goals of this program is to support reduced risk, improved health, and recovery from alcohol and substance use to promote wellness.

Recovery Coaching (RC), RC in the Emergency Department (RCED), Recovery & Community Resources, Support Groups & meetings, Referrals to recovery organizations & treatment facilities

Corrections & Justice Settings

Recovery Coaching in Justice Settings (RCJS), Onsite Facilitation (SSCF), Referrals to & from Springfield & State Police, Referrals to & from the Supportive Outreach Project (SOP)

Overdose Outreach

Tobacco Prevention

We work with local coalitions, schools and groups that serve youth to provide education on the harmful effects of tobacco and electronic nicotine delivery systems, promote quitting resources and encourage smoke-free public events.

Recovery & Substance Use Disorder Employer Resource Guide

The attached document provides information for employers on regional resources for staff who experience SUD or are in recovery, including suggested language, local organizations that can provide support, and Recovery Friendly best practices.
