Healthcare Transport
Volunteer Transportation
Volunteers can provide a complimentary service to help fill the gaps provided by the local transit provider helping people access health and wellness services.

Food Access
Grocery / Food Shelf Support
Volunteers can pick up groceries or items from a local food shelf for individuals who cannot themselves. Volunteers can also assist folks in the grocery store who need an extra hand. Some limits on this service exist.

Food Access
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a community based organization dedicated to providing nutrition and helping to eliminate isolation among older adults and people with disabilities.
Contact Senior Solutions to complete an intake for folks over 60. Contact VCIL for folks under 60. Once established, contact the ViA office by phone at (802) 674-5971 or by email at via@mahhc.org.
Mental Health
Friendly Visiting
We work to connect, mostly older adults, with volunteers to reduce rural isolation and provide friendship / support. This can be in person or over the phone. Open to all ages.
